Fall Small Group Study
In a small group we strive to see a safe environment created where the nitty-gritty of applying the gospel to our lives can occur. The goal is foster a 1 Thessalonians 2:8 atmosphere in the small group. (“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”) When believers share their lives together true fellowship is fostered. For the teaching component this Fall, we will be studying the ever practical book of James. We will look at issues that confront us everyday from difficulties, the poor and rich, favoritism, social justice, to taming the tongue and to prayer. After hearing from God's Word, we will split up into gender specific small groups to discuss and interact with one another. So, come join us as we meet together every Sunday evening through December 12. Time: Sunday's 5:30-7:30 PM Note: No meeting on October 24 (SPC Fall Fellowship), October 31 (Reformation Service), November 28 (Thanksgiving Weekend) Small groups are open to both middle school and high school youth.
